About me

I was inspired by the idea that as an educator, I could help shape minds, foster creativity, and empower students to discover their potential.

I see education not just as a profession, but as a mission—one that involves patience, empathy, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Pursuing additional qualifications and taking opportunities for continual learning has helped me refine my skills and stay current with educational trends. Taking on leadership roles has allowed me to influence education beyond my classroom. These roles challenged me to think strategically and support others in their growth. Working with students to explore and map their pathways is a privilege because I help them to understand their abilities,  evaluate their opportunities and set realistic goals.

I bring creativity and rigour to the challenge of enhancing the framework of student preparation for transition through and beyond Mercedes College.
