About me
My career path has evolved through a series of defining pivots. When I left school, I initially planned to pursue criminology, inspired by a version of the field that didn’t quite match the reality once I explored it further. After one semester, I shifted to studying International Politics at the University of Queensland, where I became increasingly interested in global development—particularly through examining the Millennium Development Goals and the role of energy access in enabling social and economic progress. It wasn’t until I started my master’s that I realised I could bring these interests together by working in the mining sector to drive climate and decarbonisation outcomes. Since then, my journey has focused on creating practical emissions‑reduction solutions within heavy industry.
About my role

- Idealistic
- Logical
- Passionate
- Practical
I am the General Manager – Decarbonisation at Loop, where I lead the strategic development and delivery of emissions reduction solutions across the resources and energy sectors. In this role, I oversee decarbonisation project origination, commercial partnerships, and technical program execution, with a focus on methane abatement, carbon management, and low‑emissions infrastructure. I work closely with mining operators, government stakeholders, and technology providers to design scalable, commercially viable pathways to net zero. I am responsible for aligning project delivery with regulatory frameworks, funding mechanisms, and evolving market opportunities, while building multidisciplinary teams to support implementation. Through my leadership, I am driving practical, industry‑led decarbonisation initiatives that balance environmental performance with operational and economic outcomes.
