About me

My journey is not so different to most others, I had NO clue what I wanted to do all throughout school and even through my first years of university. I stuck to studying what I liked and what I was interested in (economics and psychology), purely so I wouldn’t get bored during the long 4 years of uni.

I recognised that my strong organisational skills would suit a career in business, and I knew that with focus and determination, I could achieve anything I set my mind to. I also learned from my parents the importance of hard work and commitment, and that putting in the effort early can create better opportunities later on. With this mindset, I stayed focused and worked towards building my career.

After a (too long) stint in Coles, I was fortunate to be made aware of the Undergraduate Treasury Officer role at BMD. I applied, completed the interview process, and was pleased to be offered the position. I was thrown in the deep end, still studying, and managing my first ‘big girl’ job. There were some long nights, but over the past four years I’ve worked my way from undergraduate to graduate, and now to Treasury Analyst. Looking back, I’m really proud of how far I’ve come.
