My journey as an educator is shaped by resilience, curiosity, and a deep commitment to expanding opportunity. After immigrating to Australia as a skilled professional, I built a career in education spanning over 15 years across Careers, VCE and VET in Computing, Digital Media, and Chinese. I have led curriculum innovation as Head of Digital Technologies and now, as Head of Careers and Pathways, design impactful programs that connect students with real-world futures.

With a strong passion for STEM, I champion equity and open pathways for girls into underrepresented industries. As a Chinese-Australian educator, I value diversity and inclusion, bringing cultural insight and care to my work. Recognised with the 2026 RMIT Innovative Educator Award, I am dedicated to empowering every student to discover their strengths, purpose, and potential.

I am honoured to be elected as a Director of the Australian Centre for Career Education Board and am committed to contributing a strategic, innovative, and collaborative approach to support the organisation’s continued impact in advancing high-quality career education.

As Head of Careers and Pathways at Strathcona Girls Grammar, I lead a future-focused careers program that empowers students to explore purposeful pathways with confidence. Through a strong emphasis on STEM and partnerships such as UNIQ You, I actively broaden girls’ aspirations and challenge gender stereotypes in underrepresented industries. I design and deliver innovative, student-centred experiences that connect learning with real-world opportunities, helping each student discover their strengths, interests, and sense of purpose.

My work fosters informed decision-making, builds career readiness, and nurtures the courage to pursue ambitious futures. By championing equity and access, I play a pivotal role in shaping a generation of young women equipped to thrive, lead, and make meaningful contributions in a rapidly evolving world.
