About me
Throughout school, my main focus was competing in athletics and sport. I enjoyed being active and challenging myself, and my favourite subjects included biology, physical education, and humanities. While I enjoyed learning, I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted to become after school and struggled to see a career path that felt right for me.
I began by studying Business before later completing studies in Information Technology. Alongside my studies, I worked in hospitality and retail roles, building strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. I then moved into front‑line technical support, spending several years helping customers with hardware, applications, and everyday technology. Over the past two years, I’ve moved into a Change Analyst role, supporting IT and OT initiatives.
About my role
- Analytical
- Curious
- Disciplined
- Flexible
- Personable
A Change Analyst helps people and teams adjust when new technology is introduced at work. The work focuses on collaboration and understanding how changes affect people, so teams feel prepared, informed, and supported. A key part of the role is helping people feel confident when new systems and processes are introduced, by explaining what’s changing, providing information, and working closely with the teams involved. The role also supports system testing by helping plan and run tests, identify problems, and ensure new systems work as expected. In addition, Change Analysts support training by working with others to turn technical and process changes into clear, practical guidance and learning materials that people can easily understand and use.
