About me

  • Regional Background

I have been working in education for over 30 years as a high school teacher, teaching in classrooms across Australia and the UK. Throughout my career, I have taught across multiple faculties, including Creative Arts and STEM, which has given me a broad perspective on student learning and development.

Over the past five years, I have specialised in career advisory, with a strong focus on supporting Year 11 and 12 students as they navigate the important transition from school to further education, training, or employment.

Now based in Darwin, NT, I work as a Career Advisor and VET (Vocational Education and Training) Coordinator. In this role, I draw on my extensive educational background to connect students with practical training opportunities, apprenticeships, and industry pathways that align with their individual strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
