After leaving school, I pursued two passions: Accounting and Teaching. I began my career in Accounting through a traineeship while completing a Bachelor of Commerce, gaining over 20 years of experience across Chartered, Not-for-Profit, and Commercial sectors. Following a career break, I embraced a new direction after receiving a scholarship to study Mathematics Teaching at the University of Newcastle, NSW.

For the past six years, I have worked in the Pathways and Engagement department at my current school, serving as both a Coordinator and Head of Department in Senior Schooling. Supporting and mentoring others has always been central to my career, and I find great fulfillment in helping students succeed. I am committed to going above and beyond to ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As a Pathways and Engagement Year 12 Coordinator supports student success by overseeing enrolment, transitions, engagement, attendance, and educational pathways across Years 6–12. The role coordinates the Connect wellbeing program, develops lesson resources, and supports teachers to deliver consistent wellbeing education. It leads student leadership initiatives, assemblies, celebrations, and communication with students, families, and staff while facilitating targeted wellbeing and skill development programs. Using student wellbeing data to guide improvements, the coordinator works collaboratively with school leaders to enhance student outcomes. Success in the role requires strong leadership, communication, organisation, digital capability, teamwork, and a commitment to student achievement and engagement. GRTW coordinator for 200 staff.
