My journey as an educator has spanned more than 27 years across mathematics and STEM education. Throughout that time, I have held a variety of leadership and teaching roles, but my passion has always remained the same: helping students discover their potential through learning. I believe education is most powerful when students are challenged to think critically, solve meaningful problems and develop confidence in their own abilities.
Over the years, I have developed curriculum, led educational programs and created opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. Today, as a STEM teacher, I focus on inspiring curiosity, persistence and resilience through authentic learning experiences that encourage students to explore future pathways and realise that they are capable of achieving far more than they may initially believe.

As a STEM teacher, I believe the greatest lessons students learn are not found in the answer itself, but in the process of finding it. Through authentic STEM experiences, I encourage students to approach challenges with curiosity, embrace failure as part of learning, and develop the persistence, determination and resilience needed to overcome obstacles. My role is to create opportunities for students to think critically, innovate, collaborate and discover what they are capable of achieving. Whether through engineering design challenges, industry partnerships, STEM competitions or real-world projects, I aim to help students connect their learning to meaningful experiences beyond the classroom. I want every student to leave my classroom with the confidence to tackle challenges, learn from setbacks and continue growing long after the task is complete.
