About me
- Regional Background
My career in plumbing started when I was sitting in year 11 and realised I did not want to sit behind a desk for the rest of my life, I wanted to be working in an active environment, working with my hands. Once I had made my decision, I began gaining work experience in a few trades, and that’s when I decided to become a plumber. I found the work engaging, challenging and always different, which is exactly what I wanted to be doing. During my apprenticeship i worked hard to prove myself, build new skills and learn from people-not just my supervisor but other trades around me. There were definitely challenges along the way, but each has helped me become more confident that I was on the right path. Completing my apprenticeship was a huge achievement and showed me what can happen through persistence and commitment. Looking back, choosing plumbing was one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I’m excited to see where it leads me.
